Individual differences among learners of foreign languages: Learners with communication disorders

I have been interested in learners’ individual differences for many years, since my graduate studies to be more precise. Individual differences include various aspects and features of mankind, such as motivation, learning styles, tolerance of ambiguity, anxiety, extroverted/ introverted personality, and so on.  During last couple of decades, I found it urgent to take ‘Autism Spectrum Disorders’ into considerations in the field of Second Language Acquisition research.
It is even so when ‘inclusive education’ is becoming one of the hot issues nowadays.
We need to consider how to cope with or support those who are facing communicative difficulties due to their ASD.
This is definitely going to be included in my future research.
